036 Sticks In The Throat

Situation

Decided to not X-ray neck for fish bone.

Background

49 year old lady swallowed a salmon fish bone 2 days earlier. Pain and FB sensation in throat. After consulting the list of visible and non-visible fish bones in the X-ray dept, decided not to X-ray. Referred to ENT who discharged with gaviscon and arranged to see her in a few days for scoping if needed.
